On 15 February 2027 at the Rockhal in Esch‑sur‑Alzette, Editors arrive with two decades of songs and an expanded sonic palette. Formed in Birmingham in 2002, the band made its mark during the post‑punk revival with dark guitars, taut rhythms and Tom Smith’s deep voice, driven by The Back Room and An End Has a Start. Keyboards grew in prominence on In This Light and on This Evening, and the line‑up shifted after Chris Urbanowicz’s departure with the arrival of Justin Lockey and Elliott Williams. This evolution opened the way to a more atmospheric rock and a colder pop on The Weight of Your Love, In Dream and Violence, distilled on the compilation Black Gold.

Since 2022, the addition of Benjamin John Power has accentuated Editors’ electronic side toward EBM, where synthetic textures and industrial pulses take hold. On stage the band assembles these different eras, from the taut early tracks to the more electronic productions, playing on the contrast between guitars, keyboards and a precise rhythm section. A live‑focused traversal of their discography, without nostalgia and oriented toward effectiveness.
