La Yegros

La Yegros, a singular voice of Argentine nu-cumbia, arrives on 23 April 2027 at La Cigale in Paris. First brought to attention by Viene de Mi and Chicha Roja, she opens a new chapter with HAZ, an album where Latin American folklore, reggae, ska and electro intersect. The songwriting speaks of love without detour, balancing tenderness and tension, carried by a vocal timbre steeped in the traditions of Argentina's Northeast. Conceived for the stage, HAZ expands in concert: incisive synths, electronic textures, broad bass and driving rhythms support the voice and Latin percussion.
