Les musiques de John Williams et Hans Zimmer

New program. On February 28, 2027 at 4:00 PM at Zénith Limoges Métropole, "The Music of John Williams and Hans Zimmer" — a symphonic concert — will present the great film scores: Interstellar, Jurassic Park, The Dark Knight, Harry Potter, Inception, Star Wars, and Pirates of the Caribbean, performed by more than 70 musicians on stage. Under the direction of conductor Nicolas Simon, the Yellow Socks Orchestra will perform the works of these two composers live.

John Williams, composer and orchestrator, has shaped film music since the 1970s. A frequent collaborator of Steven Spielberg and George Lucas, he composed the scores for E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, Jaws, and the Indiana Jones series.

Hans Zimmer, a German-born composer who became a naturalized American, has blended orchestral arrangements with electronic sounds. His credits include The Dark Knight, Inception, Interstellar, and Gladiator.

Approximate duration: 2 hours. This show honors the music of Hans Zimmer and John Williams; the two composers will not appear on stage.
