Houndmouth « The Lordy Tour »

On September 5, 2026, Houndmouth brings The Lordy Tour to History in Toronto. Formed in 2011 in New Albany, Indiana, the band has shaped a sound that drifts between americana, alt-country, folk rock and indie rock. Rootsy guitars, understated keys and unforced harmonies anchor songs that hinge on everyday storytelling and a steady, road-tested swing. After a self-titled EP and a noticed turn at SXSW, Houndmouth released From the Hills Below the City (2013) and Little Neon Limelight (2015), which includes Sedona. A lineup change preceded Golden Age in 2018, followed by Good for You in 2021, written during the pandemic and recorded back in New Albany for a more intimate feel. Now working in a leaner formation around Matt Myers with Caleb Hickman and Zac Anderson, the group weaves older staples and newer cuts with the same relaxed pulse. Live, they move easily from dusty ballads to shuffling rockers, letting close harmonies and unfussy arrangements carry the songs.
