Saturday, August 29, 2026, the Carte Blanche entrusted to Les Limiñanas takes over the Théâtre de la Mer in Sète for an evening that crosses chanson, rock and club energy, driven by three clearly distinct propositions.
Bertrand Belin opens a singular path. With precise writing, a deep voice and phrasing that slides between song and speech, he weaves images and characters with a spare, striking economy of words. On stage, his songs gain depth, stretched by muted guitars, discreet pulses and a storytelling instinct that holds the audience without raising its voice.
Laurent Garnier switches to Wock n Woll mode. Behind the decks he blends rock, new wave, disco, house and techno without hierarchy, alternating organic grooves and creaking machines. The set is conceived as a bridge between the dancefloor and guitar culture, where rhythmic material remains the guiding thread.
The Last Band in Town plays The Clash and revives a repertoire that helped shape the collective memory. Chanted choruses, taut riffs, sing-along refrains—the group reinterprets these anthems with respect for the original spirit and a readiness to get stuck in, without fetishizing them. A direct plunge into a discography that still packs a punch.
