Trentemøller

On March 20, 2027, Trentemøller brings his live project to Vega in Copenhagen. Danish composer and producer Anders Trentemøller first carved out a space with shadowy downtempo and minimal electronics, then widened the frame to let post-punk, shoegaze, dream pop and darkwave seep in. On stage he leads a full band, where analog synths and motorik basslines meet tremolo guitars and tight, metronomic drums, shifting from slow-bloom ambient passages to colder, harder-edged rhythms.

The set draws across his catalogue, from the cinematic tension of The Last Resort through the more organic textures of Into the Great Wide Yonder, the grainy hues of Lost and Fixion, to the layered atmospheres of Obverse, Memoria and Dreamweaver. Years of remixing and collaborating with artists like Röyksopp, The Knife, Moby, Franz Ferdinand, Depeche Mode, Low and Jehnny Beth feed into an ear for contrast and detail. A concert built on mood, pulse and texture, with electronics and guitars sharing the foreground at Vega.
