Wallace Cleaver

Wallace Cleaver is at the Cargö in Caen on December 4, 2026 with a rap that refuses to be blinkered. Born in Blois in 1998, having passed through Garden Club with AnNie .Adaa and the HPA MOB collective, he has forged an introspective writing style, attentive to phrasing and nourished by personal narratives and a diffuse melancholy. On stage, he moves between rap’s subgenres and spills over into chanson, pop or spoken-word when the text demands it, without losing the thread.

From 98 and Toute l’année c’est l’hiver to Cauchemar and À la recherche du temps perdu, his projects trace a sober, precise line, carried by productions with nocturnal hues. 41BORO broadens the spectrum, baiser opens more direct passages and flirts with Jersey rhythms, while merci, presented entirely solo, tightens the focus even further. Between notable slowed-down tracks with Ocho and more recent titles, Wallace Cleaver assembles a compact, taut yet porous set where every word counts and the voice leads the way.
