Sonido Gallo Negro is a band from Mexico that returns to the roots of psychedelic tropical music with guitars, eccentric organs, analog synthesizers and a theremin. They blend exotic rarities with esoteric elements—a combination that invites dancing. Added to this are the visual effects and Dr. Alderete’s stage performance.
Since 2010 they have toured extensively across Europe and the Americas, visiting 20 countries and more than 50 cities. After five studio albums, they are a recognized presence on the Mexico City scene. In concert on July 29, 2026 at 6:30 PM at Molotov.
