Modest Mouse land at Meridian Hall in Toronto on 5 October 2026. Formed in 1993 in Washington State, the indie rock band has shifted from scrappy beginnings to expansive, off‑kilter songwriting. Their early rise came with The Lonesome Crowded West, then The Moon & Antarctica after a move to a major label. Good News for People Who Love Bad News pushed Float On into heavy rotation, and We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank cemented a catalog full of tense grooves, crooked melodies and dry, observational lyrics. On stage, they lean into that push and pull, jumping from jagged riffs to reflective detours and drawing on years of touring to give older cuts and newer tracks the same steady pulse.
Support act: Caroline Rose opens the evening, setting the room before Modest Mouse take over.
