Teddy Swims: The Ugly Tour

Teddy Swims brings The UGLY Tour to Centre Bell in Montréal on October 7, 2026. Born Jaten Dimsdale near Atlanta, the American singer and songwriter moves between soul, R&B and pop, with shades of gospel, rock and country. He first caught attention in 2019 with online covers that reframed soul standards, contemporary pop and country songs through a warm, melismatic delivery, before shifting toward original material. The EPs Unlearning (2021), Tough Love (2022) and Sleep Is Exhausting (2022) drew a candid line through themes of relationships, vulnerability and recovery, paving the way for his debut album I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy (Part 1) in 2023, carried by the single Lose Control.

On stage, Swims leans into intimacy and groove with a live band that keeps the voice upfront and lets the arrangements breathe, moving from piano-and-voice ballads to tracks with a pop-rock edge.
