Uriah Heep

On 25 October 2026 Uriah Heep will turn PLT - Theater Heerlen in Heerlen upside down with their distinctive blend of British hard rock and prog. Since 1969 the London band around guitarist Mick Box has been shaping a sound where heavy riffs, a pulsing Hammond organ and multi-part vocals go hand in hand. In the 1970s the group set the tone with Very ’eavy… Very ’umble, Salisbury, Demons and Wizards and The Magician’s Birthday, later tightening their sound on Abominog without losing their love of contrast and melody. Recently Uriah Heep returned to the studio for Chaos & Colour (2023), which carries that thread forward with fresh energy.

Live it’s all about dynamics: epic numbers alongside compact rockers, organ and guitar spurring one another on, and backing vocals that make the choruses land. Expect a set that runs through their catalogue, from early favourites to newer songs, leaving room for those iconic harmonies and the classic Heep groove. No detours—just a band that brings its own history to the stage and proves why that mix of power and melody still works.
