Morgan

On 5 February 2027 at The Black Lab in Wasquehal, Morgan took the stage with a rap that blends direct, confrontational lyrics and melodies, at the crossroads of songcraft and electronic textures. A rapper who came up through dub sound systems as an MC, she forges a sound threaded with reggae, metal and electro influences, sustained by precise writing and choruses that stick without effort. On the bill were tracks from Racines (2023) and La pomme (January 2025), in which she tackles feminism, mental health and contemporary tensions, playing on contrasts between an incisive flow and sung passages.

Trained within a self-managed collective in Annecy and then battle-hardened on stage with La Mante Religieuz and as an opening act for Sinik, Morgan sharpened her live presence before moving to Paris and releasing freestyles and original tracks online. Her stage experience broadened with the role of Madeleine Béjart in Dove Attia’s musical Molière. On stage, this trajectory results in a tight, rhythmic show in which interpretation and the weight of the text hold sway.
