Vanessa Paradis

On July 31, 2026, at the Opéra Garnier Monte-Carlo, Vanessa Paradis returns to the stage with new songs and a sound conceived for dancing. Her eighth album, co-written and produced with Étienne Daho and Jean-Louis Piérot, blends buoyant pop with the soul of the 1960s and ’70s. Since Les Sources in 2018, she has multiplied her work in film and theatre while composing behind closed doors, with Daho as her first listener. Together they present Le Retour des beaux jours, ranging from airy pieces to more impetuous pulses, with breaks, uses of silence and guitar or piano riffs.

On the program are breakup stories treated with nonchalance, the surge of a wholehearted love, the light touch of a musical and a retro groove. On “Élégie” emotion is placed front and center; elsewhere the light finds its way through subtle shades and offbeat accents. On stage, Vanessa Paradis unfolds this new repertoire alongside well-known songs, with precise arrangements and an energy that invites movement. A rendezvous where heart, pulse and tempo beat in unison.
