Info

On June 4, 2026 at The Palace Theatre in Calgary, Superheaven leads a bill that navigates between alternative rock, melodic post-hardcore and the hazy weight of 90s grunge. Born in Doylestown under the name Daylight, the band has honed a mix of dense guitars, slow-burn tension and plainly delivered vocals, from Jar to Ours Is Chrome, before returning with new material in 2024–2025. On stage, they play the push-and-pull between heaviness and melody, with saturated textures where the hooks still find their way through.

From LA’s South Bay, Modern Color digs into that same seam where shoegaze grit meets emo urgency. Tempos stay measured, guitars stack in layers, vocals keep it direct. Over time, their writing has stretched toward more atmospheric passages without losing the abrasive backbone, balancing texture and introspection with a clear sense of structure.

All Under Heaven brings a dream-laced angle on the family of sounds: alternative rock crossed with dream pop and post-hardcore. Voices blur into the mix, melodies lean melancholic, the rhythm section holds a steady tension. The group writes in contrasts—saturation versus clarity, weight versus lift—keeping choruses readable even when the sound turns dense. Three perspectives on a renewed heavy-melodic line, gathered in Calgary for a night anchored by grain, contour and restraint.
