Elysian Fields, Garciaphone

On 3 June 2026 at Le Ferrailleur in Nantes, Elysian Fields resumes the thread of a dialogue begun three decades ago between Jennifer Charles’s hushed voice and Oren Bloedow’s guitar. Formed in New York in 1995, the duo has built a slow, atmospheric rock sound infused with jazz, chamber pop, cabaret echoes and blues accents. On stage, often supported by a rhythm section and keyboards, they unfold songs with spare arrangements that allow the lyrics to breathe. From Bleed Your Cedar and Queen of the Meadow to Pink Air and Transience of Life, inspired by Chinese classics, their repertoire weaves nocturnal ballads and more tense atmospheres, balancing intimacy with an elegant tension, without unnecessary embellishment.

Opening the evening is Garciaphone. A singer-songwriter from Auvergne, he cultivates a clear, melodic folk, driven by finely detailed songwriting and a discreet sense of harmony, producing songs that go straight to the point without losing nuance.
