Ebony

Ebony makes a stop at L’Étage in Rennes on 29 October 2026. A finalist of Star Academy 2024, she first became known with “Unforgettable” before refining her palette with “Mon Paradis” and “Rage,” where pop and R&B intersect with bouyon pulses and electronic textures. Her music draws a clear line between melody and rhythm, with a distinctive vocal timbre and an instinct for hooks designed for live performance.

On stage, Ebony blends singing and movement, alternates sung and spoken passages, and plays on contrasts between tension and softness. The instrumentals, often dark and taut, give way to choruses that stay in the head without overloading the whole. The energy comes as much from the beats as from the performance, which is direct and precise.

With the MENELIK Tour she is presenting the tracks from her debut album MENELIK: songs focused on self-assertion, relationships and intimate experience. In Rennes, attendees can expect to hear “Rage” and “Mon Paradis” alongside new pieces, in a tight set that neatly summarizes her current aesthetic: clean melodies, emphatic rhythms and songwriting up front.
