Muse brings The Wow! Signal Tour to RBC Amphitheatre, Toronto, on 15 July 2026, joined by The Temper Trap and Bloc Party.
Muse, the Teignmouth trio of Matt Bellamy, Chris Wolstenholme and Dom Howard, folds muscular riffs, synth lines and orchestral colors into widescreen rock built for big crowds. From Showbiz and Origin of Symmetry to Absolution, Black Holes and Revelations and The Resistance, their catalog moves between high‑tension grooves and melodic flights, with live arrangements that stretch songs into new shapes. On stage, they shift quickly between heavy hitters, piano‑led breaks and electronic pulses, with Bellamy’s tenor cutting through stacked harmonies and fuzzed bass.
The Temper Trap opens a different window: Dougy Mandagi’s airy falsetto rides clean guitars and rolling drums, a blend that gave Sweet Disposition its lift and still frames newer material. The band balances atmospheric layers with direct hooks, letting crescendos build without overload; early Conditions cuts sit alongside the denser textures explored on their self‑titled album and Thick as Thieves.
Bloc Party brings tight, percussive urgency led by Kele Okereke and Russell Lissack’s interlocking guitars. Early staples from Silent Alarm and A Weekend in the City share space with leaner, post‑2010 tracks, anchored by clipped rhythms and sharp dynamics. That tension‑and‑release streak defines their live approach while keeping melody upfront.
