Born out of Naples’ techno scene, Carola forged a style that moves from stripped‑back, rolling techno to a supple tech house groove. Known for long‑form DJing and smooth, incremental builds, he treats the floor like a continuum, stacking grooves and textures rather than big breaks. Albums like Open System and Play It Loud! marked his path as a producer, but it’s behind the decks that his approach takes shape: tight transitions, a steady pulse and a focus on momentum tailor‑made for the club.
Rampa joins with the Keinemusik touch from Berlin. His palette blends deep house, afro‑house and melodic techno shades, carried by unhurried basslines, forward percussion and vocal snippets placed with care. Between releases on Innervisions, Crosstown Rebels or Defected and his work with the Keinemusik crew, he has honed a sound that balances warmth and drive. In the booth, Rampa favors patient progressions and hypnotic loops, the kind that pull dancers in layer by layer.
