On 1 August 2026 at Hï Ibiza, Platja d’en Bossa, Black Coffee continues his flagship Saturday residency with a set built on deep, unhurried grooves and African rhythmic DNA. A distinctive voice in electronic music, he helped shape Afro house long before it hit the global radar, weaving percussive patterns, soulful textures and a patient sense of space. Born Nkosinathi Maphumulo, he moved from the South African house scene to international stages without losing his focus on the dancefloor, and became the first African artist to win the GRAMMY for Best Dance/Electronic Album with Subconsciously. Since 2017, his partnership with Hï Ibiza has grown into a space where sound and image meet, often inviting artists from across the African art scene to shape the residency’s visual identity.
Joining the bill, Skepta brings his North London imprint as MC, producer and DJ. Raised on pirate radio and grime clashes, he cuts through with concise hooks, tight drum programming and bass pressure that leans toward the club. From Meridian Crew and Boy Better Know to the Mercury-winning Konnichiwa, his path links UK rap energy with minimal, hard-edged instrumentals and more recent incursions into electronic textures. In the booth, that mix translates into direct momentum and no-frills impact, a sharp counterpoint to the residency’s deep house current.
