On May 16, 2026 at Hï Ibiza, Black Coffee returns to the Theatre with the sound that helped carry Afro house far beyond the continent. Rooted in South Africa’s house culture, he sculpts steady tempos, deep basslines and soul-tinged textures into long, patient builds, guided by an Afropolitan sensibility and years behind the decks. Since 2017, his residency has shaped the club’s identity, with visual worlds crafted alongside artists and filmmakers from across the African scene. Subconsciously, the GRAMMY-winning album, widened his range on record; in the booth, he keeps it lean and hypnotic, favouring groove, repetition and space to let the floor breathe.
In the Club Room the same night, Skepta brings Más Tiempo, his house-focused project. A figurehead of grime now exploring club culture as DJ, producer and curator, he pivots toward warm drums, rolling bass and direct, functional hooks. Más Tiempo is the platform where his UK roots and DIY instinct meet contemporary house, informed by two decades of practice — from Meridian Crew and Boy Better Know to the Mercury Prize era — with selections built for movement and collective energy.
