World League with DJ Koze

On 8 May 2026, DJ Koze will play the Blitz Club in Munich — and it will be his last time there. Stefan Kozalla began in the 1990s with Fischmob, found his way into electronic music via International Pony, and has since developed a very distinctive take on house and techno. His sets reach well beyond genre boundaries: pop references, hip-hop echoes, downtempo shadings, together with edit collages, rhythmic breaks and slightly psychedelic atmospheres. Danceable, but never strictly functional.

On Pampa Records, his label, off-kilter house concepts meet hybrid forms; as a producer he opened the door to voices, songs and less linear club formats with albums like Music Is Okay, Amygdala and Knock Knock. In the club this translates to long arcs of tension, sudden expanses and then focused grooves again. Koze layers textures, varies tempos, lets hooks flash up and counters with quiet passages. An evening for anyone who likes to shift perspective over the course of a set — and who wants to experience this approach once more in a compact, intimate setting at the Blitz.
