Info

On May 19, 2026, Le Supersonic (9 rue Biscornet, 12th arrondissement, Paris) brings together three projects straddling psych and indie pop, for listeners who lean toward King Krule, Dope Lemon, or Royel Otis.

Marlon Funaki
California-born, Marlon Funaki shapes a songwriting approach where melody leads textures borrowed from alternative rock, psychedelia, R&B, and a jazz-tinged guitar. Of Japanese and Mexican-American descent, he pursues an independent path, writing, recording and mixing much of his own music. Having played drums in a jazz band before teaching himself guitar, he honed his songs from house parties to more established stages across the United States and the United Kingdom. On stage, he offers supple psychedelic pop, harmonic guitar lines and a subtle groove.

Yakko
Based in Paris, Yakko champions a direct, melodic indie pop. Concise songs, clear choruses and a sensibility that naturally moves from intimate songwriting to more driving tempos, without losing its simplicity.

Lost Solar Dust
Parisian psych-pop project Lost Solar Dust works with contrasts between vaporous layers and rhythmic surges. Dreamy textures, repetitive motifs and cottony guitars map out a hypnotic journey, between cosmic escapism and club-ready pop.
