Hilight Tribe

Hilight Tribe makes a stop at La Cigale, Paris, on 18 November 2026, for a live show conceived as a continuous acoustic trance. Since the early 2000s, the collective has been shaping a machine-free techno played with bare hands, where percussion, strings, voices and traditional instruments interlock into organic loops. On stage the rhythm never lets up, motifs evolve in layers, and the dynamics rest on the musicians’ collective listening, each member injecting influences gathered in India, Africa, Europe or South America.

Over the course of their tours, Hilight Tribe has honed an instantly recognizable signature, nourished by group work and an intensive live practice. The set draws from a discography marked by conceptual projects and sonic journeys, featuring tracks that have become familiar to audiences — up to the resonance of “Free Tibet,” which reached a wider public thanks to Vini Vici’s remix. The aim remains the same: to connect the pulse of traditional music with the energy of the European electronic scene, while keeping the instrumental gesture at the center. An experience crafted for sweat and listening, carried by more than twenty years of shared life on the road.
