On April 3, 2026 at La Clef in Saint‑Germain‑en‑Laye, it’s rock night with Dynamite Shakers and The Odds.
Dynamite Shakers are four twenty‑something musicians from Vendée, steeped in Stray Cats, the Stones, Johnny Thunders, Sonic Youth and The Sonics. After more than 400 gigs, they bring a direct, urgent sound: distorted guitars, a tight rhythm section and melodies that stick. The band now alternates between French and English lyrics, cranks up the amps without losing the melodic thread, and plays in the moment—somewhere between electric jolts and a sure ear for a chorus.
The Odds are a group of friends since primary school who put French‑language rock back at the centre of the game. Resonant guitars, collective energy and a rapport forged in childhood: their songs go straight to the point. Driven by lively rock, they draw on English rock, blues, funk and disco, aiming to connect rock, French touch and indie. After a tour that saw them play Zénith venues as the opening act for Hoshi, the band released their second EP, Kids, in 2025 and continue to hone a simple, immediate songwriting made for the stage.
