Kid Kapichi

Kid Kapichi bring their unvarnished UK rock to Komplex 457 in Zurich on 5 December 2026. The band from Hastings — Jack Wilson, Ben Beetham, Eddie Lewis and George Macdonald — blends punk, alternative and post‑punk with a rough, melodic approach: heavy guitars, driving grooves, a vocal delivery close to spoken‑word and lyrics drawn straight from everyday life. They deal with local politics, precarious jobs, social tensions and mental health — without pathos, but clear and pointed.

After early singles and EPs in the late 2010s, including Sugar Tax (2019), the debut album This Time Next Year arrived in 2021, cementing their mix of heavy riffs and social chronicle. 2022 brought Here’s What You Could Have Won, featuring a collaboration with Bob Vylan. In 2024 Kid Kapichi followed up with There Goes The Neighbourhood, staying true to their focus on urban life and contemporary Britain.

Live the quartet relies on directness: compact songs, precise hooks and a rhythm section that maintains constant pressure. In Zurich the band will play new material alongside tracks that have long become staples — a set between angular punk and catchy rock that emphasizes lyrics and intensity.
