Neg'Marrons

Neg’ Marrons are back on stage on 6 November 2026 at the Tetris in Le Havre. Jacky and Ben-J, childhood friends who grew up in Garges-lès-Gonesse, have been crafting since the 1990s a sound at the crossroads of rap, reggae and dancehall. Emerging from the Secteur Ä collective, they have built a repertoire in which rap flows mingle with sung choruses and Caribbean rhythms, with tracks that have become touchstones and memorable collaborations alongside Wyclef Jean, Cesária Évora, Tonton David, Amadou & Mariam and Alpha Blondy.

On stage, the duo moves between everyday-life vignettes, Jamaican beats and hip hop energy, drawing on albums that have punctuated their career—from Rue Case Nègres to Neg’Marrons and Liens sacrés. Their return is accompanied by a new project inaugurated by the single “Un peu de temps,” which opens a new chapter without abandoning the group’s DNA. Expect revisited classics, signature songs like “Le Bilan” and unreleased material, all driven by their complementary vocals and a stage-ready sense of groove. It’s an appointment that reconnects with a history rooted in the neighbourhoods and nourished by the sounds of the sound systems.
