Hubert-Félix Thiéfaine announces his farewell tour: on 15 May 2027 he will play the Zénith d’Auvergne in Cournon-d’Auvergne. From the Left Bank cabarets of the 1970s, the singer-songwriter has carved out a distinctive path between French chanson, folk-rock, blues and electric rock. Eighteen albums to his name, lyrics marked by a hushed irony, oblique imagery and literary references: his signature remains intact.
On stage, his deep voice is accompanied by taut guitars, more acoustic respites and a sense of storytelling that captures the audience’s attention. The concert journeys through his discography: from early folk impulses to the rock turns of the 1980s, up to recent albums such as Suppléments de mensonge, Stratégie de l’inespoir and Géographie du vide. An evening to hear his emblematic songs, rediscovered in contemporary arrangements, and to pay tribute to a career that has accompanied several generations.
