Camille

Camille returns on 14 November 2026 to the Opéra de Limoges with The Sound of Milk, a long‑matured project conceived as a triptych. It brings together Naissance (2015), a sound diary intimately close to the body; Enfance (2020), a pocket musical; and Adolescence (2025), the pop facet. The thread runs through the intimate — motherhood, family, creation — and observes how the voice changes age, role and momentum.

On stage, Camille continues the exploration found in Le Fil, Music Hole, Ilo Veyou and Ouï: vocal loops, polyphonies, body percussion, wordplay and a keen sense of rhythm. She returns to simple forms in which singing becomes raw material, breath, pulse and narrative. From whispered lullabies to more direct choruses, the set moves from one age to another, between an intimate notebook and minimalist pop, without losing its melodic tension.

The Sound of Milk sketches a personal, free and living work that places the voice at the center and links intimate experience with musical gesture. The concert is conceived as a journey, from the first sound to pop affirmation, to listen to a music that grows in contact with the real.
