Levitation Room returns to Madrid on June 19, 2026, at Sala El Sol to present their new work. Born in Los Angeles’s garage-psych circuit in the early 2010s, the band sharpens a psychedelic rock with reverberant guitars, vocal harmonies and hazy keyboards, threaded with echoes of ’60s pop and a surf pulse. Live, their short, undulating songs create space without losing melodic hook. After an initial run of singles and EPs, the albums Ethos (2016) and Headspace (2019) established a fundamentally retro sound that has since evolved toward more open, nuanced pieces.

This return to Sala El Sol comes with new material in tow: songs that breathe floating atmospheres, elastic rhythms and a contemporary take on the sixties legacy. A set is expected to mix premieres with cuts from their earlier records, with compact band dynamics and that hypnotic tone polished on the road. Contemporary psychedelia with an Angeleno slant, served in an intimate, direct format.
