GIFT lands in Madrid on Friday, April 17, 2026 at Cadavra. Born in Brooklyn, they emerged in the early 2020s at the crossroads of their city’s shoegaze and psychedelia. Their sound blends dream pop, psychedelic rock and a steady krautrock pulse: layered guitars, voices that blur into the mix, and melodies that lean toward pop without abandoning a hypnotic drift.
In concert, the band stretches that rhythmic tension into a more physical realm, with motorik repetitions, hazy atmospheres and choruses that surface and dissolve. After an initial run of singles, in 2022 they released their debut Momentary Presence on Dedstrange, an album that situates their world between textural immersion and straightforward songcraft. Onstage, that balance becomes pieces that grow by accumulation, shifts in density and a continuous journey between trance and the punch of contemporary alternative rock. A set to be carried away by the textures without losing the band’s pulse.
