Info

On Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at Café Berlín in Madrid, Puma Blue presents his universe between hazy soul, nocturnal jazz and intimate songwriting. Behind the alias is Jacob Allen, a British musician and producer who came to prominence with the EPs Swum Baby (2017) and Blood Loss (2018), and established a distinctive voice with In Praise of Shadows (2021) and the concert film A Late Night Special. After Holy Waters (2023), a more choral work that faces loss and renewal head-on, he surprised with antichamber (2025), a minimalist record with a very intimate feel.

In concert, Allen performs backed by his regular band and plays with space, pauses and improvisation. His soft timbre and sustained guitars coexist with warm bass lines and restrained percussion, allowing melodic turns room to breathe. The repertoire moves between ethereal pieces and more electric passages, linking songs from all stages of his career without unnecessary artifice. It’s a performance conceived to let listeners hear how those songs take on another shape on stage, with dynamics that rise and fall and a constant attention to sonic detail.
