Carlos Rivera

Carlos Rivera arrives at the Concert Music Festival on July 24, 2026, at Poblado Sancti Petri, Chiclana de la Frontera. Born in Huamantla (Tlaxcala) in 1986, he came to public attention in the mid-2000s after winning La Academia, and has since charted a path between Latin pop and the romantic ballad, offering reinterpretations of the Mexican repertoire. His time in the musicals Beauty and the Beast and The Lion King, in Mexico and Spain, shaped his way of performing on stage: narrative-style interpretations, modern arrangements and a strong focus on melody.
