On April 10, 2026, DEADLETTER arrives at Kafe Antzokia in Bilbao with a live show that places the word front and center. Formed in London by a group of friends, they treat writing and language as the driving force of the show, and they understand the stage more as a space for storytelling than as a mere format of performance. Their method draws on DIY practices and independent circuits, with a lean production approach that seeks genuine closeness with the audience and a barrier-free exchange.

In their pieces, fragmented narration, repetitive motifs and an almost surgical attention to scansion and the rhythm of the phrase prevail. They construct songs in sequences, playing with rupture and the piling up of ideas, fine-tuning timing and the punchline. Live, they treat each song as a real-time edit: they may rearrange passages, expand a motif or saturate it with interjections, without privileging text over performance. Hence that energy of a small venue with no pit, where interaction steers the course of the concert and every turn is written together with the people in front of them.
