Rikke Thomsen

Rikke Thomsen writes from the south of Denmark and brings that landscape on stage: acoustic folk with a country backbone and a knack for clear, melodic hooks. Rooted in Sønderjylland, she sings in the Sønderjysk dialect and blends it with standard Danish, letting the sound and cadence of the language drive her storytelling. On 29 May 2026 at Magasingaarden in Faaborg, she plays solo, voice and guitar in front, in a songwriter setup that keeps the focus on the lyrics and the craft.

Revealed to a wider audience with the 2019 EP Omve’n hjemve, Rikke has built a catalog that circles themes of place, leaving and coming back, and everyday life far from big cities.
