Info

All The Feelings Tour stops in Calgary on June 29, 2026 at Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium, uniting Metric, Broken Social Scene and Stars on the same stage.

Metric formed in Toronto in the late 1990s around Emily Haines (voice, keys) and James Shaw (guitar), later joined by Joshua Winstead and Joules Scott-Key. Their sound folds indie rock into new wave and synth-pop, where angular guitars and keyboards drive direct, melodic songs. From Old World Underground and Fantasies to Synthetica and the twin albums Formentera I & II, the band has kept an electronic pulse anchored by a tight live quartet.

Broken Social Scene, born in Toronto in 1999 around Kevin Drew and Brendan Canning, functions as a flexible collective with a lineup that shifts by project. Early ambient leanings on Feel Good Lost gave way to structured indie rock and pop on You Forgot It in People, then to the dense, many-voiced arrangements of their self-titled album, Forgiveness Rock Record and Hug of Thunder. Brass, strings and stacked guitars sketch the group’s widescreen approach, often crossing paths with members of Metric and Stars.

Stars bring an indie pop shaped by the alternating voices of Torquil Campbell and Amy Millan, moving between chamber pop textures and synth-pop glow. From Nightsongs and Set Yourself on Fire to The North, There Is No Love in Fluorescent Light and From Capelton Hill, the band balances intimate storytelling with dance-friendly currents, rooted in the Arts & Crafts circle that also links them to Broken Social Scene.
