Twenty years after Repenti, his debut album, Renan Luce retraces his steps. At L’Écrin in Talant, on 11 November 2026, he replayed the album’s thirteen tracks in their original order, as if meeting old acquaintances again. Repenti established his signature: singer-songwriter material nourished by folk, waltz and narrative ballads, populated by characters sketched in a few images. This anniversary concert rekindles those short musical films and lets them breathe with time.

On stage, Renan Luce favors an acoustic approach, a tightened ensemble and a performance that puts voice and lyrics at the center. He confronts the young songwriter of 2006, measures what has changed and what still holds, and allows himself subtle inflections without distorting the original momentum. After Le Clan des miros, D’une tonne à un tout petit poids and a self-titled album in 2019, this return to the starting point also traces the path he has travelled. Thirteen songs, a taut thread between yesterday and today, to hear again the album that brought him to light in a more intimate hue.
