Mogwai

Mogwai return to Strasbourg on 11 November 2026 at La Laiterie for a concert spanning three decades of post‑rock from Glasgow. Thirty years after their beginnings and the creation of their label Rock Action Records, the band will draw from their entire discography, from the early blasts of Mogwai Young Team and Come On Die Young to The Bad Fire, their eleventh album released last year. In the wake of the revived video for their first single “Tuner,” assembled from archival footage, the group revisits its roots and sonic obsessions.

On stage, Mogwai remain true to their instrumental writing: long buildups, sharp ruptures, biting guitars against clear washes, keyboards and loops that thicken the soundscape. Their sound, forged in Glasgow’s DIY scene and carried by Rock Action, flirts with shoegaze, art rock and atmospheres close to film music. It’s an opportunity to hear, in a single set, the themes that defined their early work alongside more recent textures that continue to expand their range.
