Ryan Davis & the Roadhouse Band

Ryan Davis & the Roadhouse Band hits the Horseshoe Tavern in Toronto on June 23, 2026. Raised in Louisville and now based across the river in Jeffersonville, Indiana, Davis stepped out from years with State Champion to pursue a more personal strain of Americana. Writing solo and moving between instruments, he shaped Dancing on the Edge in 2023, the first release under the Roadhouse Band name: folk contours, indie rock angles and a country backbone, carried by storytelling that sticks to lived detail. A second chapter arrived in 2025 with New Threats from the Soul, extending that mix in the studio and setting up songs built to breathe on stage.

Live, the Roadhouse Band opens the arrangements and lets the narratives lead, keeping the pulse grounded while the songs stretch and settle. It’s direct, unadorned, and focused on the writing rather than the pose. Alongside his records, Davis runs the Sophomore Lounge label and co-founded the Cropped Out festival, a reminder of the independent network that shapes this project and its way of touring.
