Orville Peck

Orville Peck returns to Paris with his fringed mask and cinematic country, straddling Nashville heritage and visions of the urban western. A singular figure since 2019, the South African crooner based in Canada cultivates a deep voice, reverb-soaked guitars and queer cowboy imagery that lend his songs a texture at once intimate and expansive. After a theatrical detour on Broadway in 2025, he refocused on the essentials: writing and singing. He will appear on stage on 17 June 2026 at Le Trianon in Paris.

He is promoting Appaloosa, a seven-track EP released in November, conceived with Jacob Portrait (Unknown Mortal Orchestra). Envisioned as a freewheeling playground, the record returns to the heart of his project: ballads that gaze toward the horizon, mid-tempos cut for the road, and tales of desire, uprooting and pride. Between new material and standout tracks from Pony, Show Pony, Bronco and Stampede, the set promises a taut journey between country tradition and darker flashes, where Orville Peck’s magnetic presence and knack for storytelling hold the high ground.
