The Bootleg Beatles

On 6 March 2026 The Bootleg Beatles will perform at Metropool in Enschede. The British Beatles tribute band brings the Fab Four’s songbook to the stage with an emphasis on sound, timing and multi-part vocals. No gimmicks — just four musicians who convincingly assume the roles of John, Paul, George and Ringo, keeping the songs at the centre.

The show traces the band’s different phases: from the early Beatlemania with twangy guitars and a propulsive beat to the later, more layered studio years. Distinctive harmonies, vintage instruments and arrangements close to the original recordings form the backbone. Costumes and visuals shift with each era, giving each segment its own atmosphere.

Musically the set moves from short, punchy pop songs to richer compositions featuring keyboards, percussion and subtle details. The performance remains live and immediate, with room for dynamics and the small accents that carry the songs.
