Floor Jansen

Floor Jansen performs on 9 July 2026 at the Zuiderpark Theatre in The Hague as part of Zuiderpark Live. The singer from Goirle has combined classical vocal technique with rock since her early years, first with After Forever and later through ReVamp and the hard rock duo Northward. Since 2012 she has been the voice of the Finnish band Nightwish and can be heard on the albums Endless Forms Most Beautiful (2015) and Human. :II: Nature. (2020). In parallel she has been building a solo career with a more pop-rock oriented sound; her album Paragon was released in 2023.

On stage Jansen shifts between lyrical colour and metal intensity, with a range that covers multiple registers. The show places her voice at the centre, with arrangements that allow space for both melody and power. Between the symphonic legacy and her more recent solo work emerges a set that maps her trajectory: orchestral shades, modern hooks and songs that balance structure and atmosphere. This concert demonstrates how she draws elements from her bands and collaborations into a distinct live form of her own, without losing sight of the story behind the songs.
