Buray

Buray brings his Turkish-language pop to Arnhem on 28 March 2026 at Musis Arnhem. The Turkish Cypriot singer-songwriter from Nicosia settled in Turkey and made his name in 2015 with the album 1 Şişe Aşk. Since then he has built a catalogue of singles and albums in which melodic hooks, romantic ballads and subtle electronic touches merge with pop-rock influences. In close collaboration with lyricist Gözde Ançel he writes songs in contemporary Turkish about relationships and everyday life, with turns of phrase that seem to come straight from the streets.
