Info
On 2 May 2026 Wet Wet Wet comes to Muziekgebouw Eindhoven. The band from Clydebank, near Glasgow, has blended soulful melodies, orchestral ballads and accessible pop-rock since the early 1980s. With Marti Pellow they rose to wide recognition through their debut Popped In Souled Out (1987) and The Memphis Sessions, and their version of Love Is All Around for Four Weddings and a Funeral (1994) brought their sound to audiences far beyond the UK. After a lengthy break they opened a new chapter with Timeless (2007); Pellow left in 2013 and since 2018 Kevin Simm has been the vocalist. The Journey (2021) marks that restart, with Graeme Clark, Tommy Cunningham, Neil Mitchell and long‑time guitarist Graeme Duffin forming the familiar core.
On stage the group deploys its strengths: warm lead vocals, richly shaded keyboards, a solid rhythm section and refrains that linger. Between soul‑tinged pop and sustained ballads their repertoire gains a fresh dimension, spanning early material to more recent songs. Expect a set in which their Scottish pop DNA remains audible and the songs take centre stage, with melodies that hit immediately and arrangements that land perfectly live.
