On 26 November 2026 Laura Cox will turn up the heat at the Patronaat in Haarlem with a set that centers on her tough hybrid of hard rock and blues rock. The Franco‑British guitarist and songwriter performs with a compact band line‑up, letting the riffs, slide parts and sizzling solos do the work—direct and without detour. Expect a focus on groove, melody and tight ensemble playing, with space for instrumental excursions where needed and for songs that head straight for the chorus.

Cox built her path both online and on the road: videos sharing her love of the guitar, followed by many miles of touring and a signature sound that lands best live. From Hard Blues Shot (2017), through Burning Bright (2019) to Head Above Water (2023), she has developed a repertoire rooted in classic rock codes but with a direct, contemporary punch. On stage she shifts effortlessly between gritty mid‑tempos, high‑energy uptempo numbers and slower pieces with sustained tension. The set features tracks from her three albums and new material, driven by a rhythm section that keeps everything tight. A support act opens the evening and warms the room for Cox and her band.
