Clouseau

Clouseau will perform in Caprera, Bloemendaal on 18 July 2026. Since the mid-1980s brothers Koen and Kris Wauters have formed the permanent core of the band, supplemented by rotating musicians. Their signature: Dutch-language pop with direct melodies, ballads and accessible pop-rock, with the voice and the story at the centre. In 1989 they appeared in the Belgian qualifying rounds for the Eurovision Song Contest with “Anne” and released the album Hoezo?; in 1991 they made an English-language detour with Close Encounters and took part in the Contest with “Geef het op”, after which the focus shifted back to Dutch for good.

Over the years Clouseau has built a catalogue that starts from relationships and everyday situations, with records such as Of zo…?, Oker and Adrenaline. Live they keep things tight and no-nonsense: guitars, keyboards, melodies that land instantly. In Caprera they will bring that DNA with them, grounded in the songs that have grown with their audience in Belgium and the Netherlands, while also making room for more recent material. An evening for anyone who loves straightforward pop in their native language, delivered by a band that knows its material inside out.
