Info
On May 1, 2026, at JunkYard in Dortmund, LØLØ will demonstrate how she blends alternative pop, pop-rock and pop-punk edges. The Canadian, born Lauren Mandel, writes her songs like diary entries: direct, vulnerable, with dry wit. Since her beginnings between Toronto and L.A., she has honed a sound built on punchy hooks, 2000s-style guitars and clear melodies, with lyrics about relationships, self-protection and ruptures in everyday life.
With the EPs Overkill and debbie downer and the 2024 debut album Falling for Robots and Wishing I Was One, she has defined her territory between energetic choruses and reflective lines. Live, this comes across as concise songs, loud–quiet dynamics and a band that brings force without losing subtlety. The focus will be on new tracks from the album, complemented by earlier singles and collaborations like debbie downer and 5, 6, 7, 8. The set combines intimate lyrics and driving guitars—direct, compact and stage-ready.
