On August 26, 2026 at Sobeys Stadium, Toronto, Alabama bring a set shaped at the junction of country tradition and southern rock. Formed in Fort Payne and long driven by cousins Randy Owen and Teddy Gentry with Jeff Cook, the band honed its craft across Southeastern barrooms before stepping onto the Nashville circuit. Their hallmarks are intact: tight vocal harmonies, electric guitars and clear-eyed storytelling about rural life, family and regional roots. From the early Wildcountry years to later comebacks, their songbook blends classic country frames with pop-leaning hooks and a touch of gospel warmth.
Special guest Corb Lund sets the tone with writing steeped in the Alberta plains. After beginnings with Edmonton rock outfit The Smalls, he turned to country, folding alt-country and folk into lean, narrative songs. His repertoire moves from ranch work and western lore to itinerant roads and the everyday of the agricultural world, shifting between spare ballads and brisk two-steps. A grounded, melodic counterpoint to Alabama’s collective voice.
