After the Adieu Hier tour, Fabrice Éboué returns with “SolitudeS.” He opts for stripped-down stand-up: a microphone, a room, and incisive writing. He scrutinizes the times and their paradoxes, dismantles the everyday, shakes up received ideas, slips in a touch of dark humour, and keeps a clear eye on what unsettles as much as it amuses. Between confidences and punchlines, he plays with rhythm, silences and the instant. In short scenes, hot-button subjects meet the details of reality, like sparks that answer one another without beating around the bush. No showboating, no superfluous set: just speech at the centre, his taste for upending expectations in his sights, and that ability to capture the spirit of the times without overemphasis.
