Info
On 6 August 2026 at Le Glazart in Paris’s 19th arrondissement, The Suicide Machines take back the reins. Born in Detroit in the early 1990s, they refined a blend that mixes ska rhythms, punk rock energy and hardcore bursts. Fronted by Jason Navarro’s vocals, the band staked its ground with Destruction by Definition, toughened its sound on Battle Hymns, then moved toward a more melodic punk at the turn of the 2000s. After a break, they returned with socially charged lyrics (A Match and Some Gasoline, War Profiteering Is Killing Us All) and rebooted the machine in 2020 with Revolution Spring on Fat Wreck Chords. On stage, the band alternates bouncy off‑beats and direct, driving attacks, never lingering.
Faintest Idea completes the bill with tight-horned ska punk and chant-along choruses, crafted for collective participation. It’s a way to switch between infectious skank and straight‑ahead punk surges, for a compact, moving room sung in unison.
