Guitarricadelafuente moves between worlds. Raised between Benicàssim and his grandmother’s village, Las Cuevas de Cañart, he grew up with the echo of rural folk and flamenco while looking outward to everything beyond the Spanish margins. That blend shaped a voice that speaks to a generation caught between longing and constant digital noise.

His stage name fuses Lafuente with the Aragonese guitarrica, and his first spark came with El Conticinio in 2018, a bedroom take tracked on a PlayStation mic. The lo-fi grain set the tone: intimate, direct, unvarnished. In 2019, Guantanamera and Nana Triste (with Natalia Lacunza) pushed him into wider ears and led to La Cantera in 2022, a debut that anchored his folk roots in indie-pop textures.

Spanish Leather (2025), with artwork by Wolfgang Tillmans, keeps that DNA while opening new space in sound and imagery. On stage, he tucks flamenco accents into hazy guitars, light percussion and subtle electronics, giving air to silence and to a voice that carries both warmth and restraint.
